Dr. Marik has received a dozen awards and honors from various national, as well international societies including several for his efforts in the perfection of surgical treatment of pathological changes of the female genital system:

Dr. Marik, a board certified obstetrics & fertility surgeon, advanced gynecological laparoscopy and microsurgery techniques. He was appointed Chief of Gynecology and Chair of the Department of Surgery at various medical centers. He was an invited lecturer in over 16 countries and published and presented hundreds of papers regarding a variety of assisted reproductive technology medical developments and techniques. He taught countless fellows laparoscopy and microsurgery, for which he repeatedly received the prestigious Award for Excellence in Teaching Infertility Surgery at Harbor General Hospital, UCLA School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1978-1981). He treated thousands of patients including royalty, foreign dignitaries, politicians and celebrities. He was known worldwide.
Czech-born, Dr. Marik was always proud of his homeland. For his achievements in medicine, Dr. Marik was awarded the Czech Hlava Award. In 2018, the government of the Czech Republic and Minister of Foreign Affairs awarded him the Gratias Agit Award recognizing his promotion of the Czech Republic abroad and commitment to the benefit of society in the sciences.
